The 30A Company has partnered with award-winning Mercer Estates in Washington State to create a family of premium 30A Wine.
“For many people, sharing great wine with great friends is an intrinsic part of our 30A lifestyle,” said Mike Ragsdale, founder of The 30A Company. “We searched for a very long time to find the perfect winery partner, and we finally found them with the Mercer family.”

Mercer Estates lies within the Horse Heaven Hills region of eastern Washington State. The Columbia River serves as the southern border of the Mercer family farm, with the Horse Heaven Hills extending as far as the eye can see in every direction.
“It’s unbelievably gorgeous, and the Mercer family and team are so friendly and knowledgeable,” said Ragsdale.
“We were extremely lucky to be there when it snowed, something we were told almost never happens.”
Recently, Mercer Estates was named the Washington State Winery of the Year.

In 1972, the Mercers planted the very first wine grapes in the now-acclaimed American Viticultural Area (AVA) region. In fact, the Cabernet Sauvignon that they first planted would later become the highly acclaimed Champoux Vineyard.
“We worked with the 30A team to carefully select varietals that really complement the Gulf Coast lifestyle,” said Will Mercer, general manager of Mercer Estates. “These are world-class wines that embody a world-class destination.”
In addition to being military veterans, farmers and winemakers, the Mercers have won numerous awards for their sustainability and conservation efforts, including being the first winery to ever win the “Environmental Excellence Award” from the Association of Washington Business.
“Creating harmony in the ecosystem of our farm and producing wines that demonstrate the unique terroir of the Horse Heaven Hills are the highest forms of art that we can accomplish,” said Rob Mercer, who was stationed on the Gulf Coast during his years of military service.
The 30A Chardonnay has notes of vanilla, creamsicle, pear and pineapple, while the 30A Red Blend is barrel-aged in a combination of French and American oak for up to 12 months and bursts with ripe black cherry and plum flavors, with hints of caramel, coffee and smoke. A 30A Rose is now available as well.
“Our teams have worked so hard to make sure we got this just right,” said Ragsdale. “We can’t wait to share these wines with all of 30A’s friends, family and fans.”
