South Walton Academy is a non-profit, private school for pre-k through 12th grade. SWA helps bridge the gap between communication and children with autism and other related disabilities such as dyslexia, ADHD, and more. 1 in 6 children now have a learning disability. Special Olympics Florida – Walton county provides services for more than 100 athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services provided include: year-round sports training and competitions, life skills, and healthy living initiatives through the healthy athletes programs and are 100% free to athletes and their families. Westonwood Ranch, a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation located in the heart of Walton County, offers a unique learning curriculum for young adults with development differences.
