Centrally located in South Walton, the NatureWalk at Seagrove residential community features remarkable amenities, plus immediate proximity to the beach, state forest, shopping, dining, bike trails and much more. And yet, quietly tucked back in the pines, the neighborhood feels a world away.
NatureWalkjust released its third and final phase of development, so we caught up with John Manrique, VP Marketing for Kolter Homes, to learn more about this relatively new South Walton community.
What does NatureWalk offer that people can’t find elsewhere?
MANRIQUE: Its location. Being situated in the heart of 30-A, you’re next door to WaterColor Crossing, just a mile away from the beach and 1.5 miles from Seaside. But despite its proximity to these places, the community itself is removed from congestion and hustle-bustle, and enjoys the lush green tranquility of Point Washington State Forest.
How has the community evolved over the year through the three phases?
MANRIQUE: Originally, the community was simply conceived as ‘homes with a neighborhood pool.’ But after Kolter got involved with development, NatureWalk now includes fitness areas, sports courts, ponds and parks, making it the “Ultimate Walkabout Community” with numerous outdoor amenities.
What are some of those amenities?
MANRIQUE: NatureWalk’s “Gathering Place” features three pools: a resort-style pool with beach entry, a heated pool with lap lanes and a shaded children’s splash pool. Additionally, there is a bar with flat screen TVs, grills, fire pit and a playground. Beyond The Gathering Place are basketball and pickleball courts as well as a fitness course and an extensive trail/boardwalk system that includes the Lily Lane Beach Trail and State Forest Trail.
What’s your favorite thing about this area?
MANRIQUE: The setting is really spectacular. I love the outdoors and enjoy mountain biking, paddle boarding, hiking, running, and the beach. Lucky for me, the 30A area offers some of the country’s best opportunities to pursue all of these passions. Add to that the friendly, welcoming vibe this area exudes, and you can’t help but love it here.
