Alaqua Animal Refuge's Laurie Hood 
This year, the fifth annual event will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bijoux in The Market Shops at Sandestin.
Unique, local businesses will set up at the venue to bring private shopping right to the participants as they sip champagne and wine and then enjoy a fabulous, three-course lunch.
All proceeds benefit Alaqua, a non-profit animal sancutary, which serves as the premier no-kill animal refuge on the Emerald Coast. Support will allow Alaqua to save more animals, expand its facility and create educational programs to benefit the community.
