Hazel – waiting for her ‘forever home’
Eight-year-old Hazel is an easy-going, bright-eyed furry delight, who loves little puppies.
Hazel, Hazel, our happy little pearl of a girl,
hair the color of pumpkins, her tail with a precious curl.
That tail is a perfect measure of her happiness and delight,
wagging so rapidly, it could make her take flight!
Her eyes are deep and lovely, the color of the darkest coal,
and as you look deep into them you will see her thoughtful soul.
Hazel, Hazel, our helpful little sweetie.
Always willing to lend a little assistance, never mean or greedy.
Well behaved, well mannered, always playing well with others.
Her expertise in the kennels, is assisting with the new mothers.
She loves the little puppies, helping with their comfort and care.
She is selfless and loving, concerned only with their welfare.
Hazel, Hazel, our loving spreader of goodwill and good cheer.
She is devoted and happy to nap on the lap of a volunteer.
She loves to be carried and nestled like an infant,
and if you hold her like this, she will be sound asleep in an instant.
But, please don’t let her age of eight deter you,
this girl is full of life and love, its as if she is brand new!
Hazel, Hazel, we know that your loving home is out there,
and when they find you, it’ll be an answer to our prayer.
You will fill their life with happiness, with your loving demeanor.
They will see that with you in their lives, the grass is always greener!
Come meet her for yourself, you’ll see all of these words are true.
Visit her at Alaqua, we promise, she will make you happy, through and through!
