To raise monetary help and awareness for charities who need community support, Bands of 30A is hosting a fundraising concert. The concert will be held at the Seaside Amphitheater, Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Food For Thought Outreach Inc., an organization, which fights child hunger in Walton & Okaloosa Counties.
“After the amazing response from the Storm Relief Concert in September, we wanted to make an ongoing impact in our community by using the gift of music to benefit deserving charities,” said event organizer Casey Kearney. “Various bands that play regularly on 30A will be hosting family friendly concerts at different venues that will raise awareness and support for many causes.”
The musical lineup of local and regional bands will begin performing at the top of each hour beginning at 12:00 p.m.
The bands performing include: The Graytones, followed by Casey Kearney, Jacob Mohr, Will Thompson, and the Luke Langford Band.
In addition to the live musical performances, Santa will be coming in on the official 30A mascot, Land Rover ‘Truman’, ready to take photos. Great Southern Café will also be on site offering half price drinks available to all those who purchase an official “Bands of 30A” cup from the donation table.
New to this event, Bands of 30A will now also be offering VIP advance donation passes for $60. VIP packages include premium concert seating provided by Cabana Man, an event t-shirt provided by iPROMOTEu, official Bands of 30A cup for half priced drinks at Great Southern Café, provided by The Well Church, and band meet and greet. Tickets can be purchased online on the website.
The community has already begun to rally behind this event. To date, sponsors include 30A, 30A Event Planning, Cabana Man, East Village Fashion, Eloquent Signs, Enlightened Studios, Grayton Seafood Co., Great Southern Café, Homes of 30A, iPROMOTEu, Justin Gaffrey Gallery, Kansas Pitts Photography, Luke & Blue’s Custom Homes, Proffitt PR, Shirt Shack, Seaside, Studio Northwest, and The Well Church.
The Seaside Amphitheater is located at Central Square, Santa Rosa Beach. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to sit on.
