Carol Dickson will be exhibiting her paintings and hand woven baskets in the Coastal Branch Library during the month of February. Carol has been weaving baskets of every shape and size for 30 years. Over the last two years, she has started weaving baskets from natural materials which includes pine needles and vines, and in fact, you may even see her weaving on the beach using the water of the gulf. Watercolor painting started for Carol in 2005 and she has taken it to new levels as each year passes. Carol is often referred to as the Watercolor Weaver.
Carol offers classes in basketry and watercolor for children and adults. She’s a member of the Women’s Art Network and Cultural Arts Alliance. For the past five years Carol has been the art coordinator for the Coastal Branch Library.
