Docked at Sandestin’s Baytowne Marina in South Walton Florida, the SOLARIS yacht celebrates Easter in true Emerald-Coast style with a Lunch Cruise suitable for all ages.
The weekend kicks off with the Gala at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. Guests will enjoy a fun black tie and Roaring 20s-theme dinner with music, dancing, live and silent auctions, and a cork wine pull. A live auction will include sought-after items such as a trip to the Kentucky Derby; CBS Sports golf package with the winner’s pick of a golf tournament with the announcers; and a vacation home in San Miguel.
The Gala is a black tie or Roaring 20s attire (optional) fundraising event to benefit children by providing services to help identify, treat, and support them in abusive situations. The popular golf tournament follows on Sunday, March 8, at the Raven Golf Course in Sandestin with a noon tee time. Sam Taylor will sponsor a hole-in-one contest with a chance to win a Cadillac. The events benefits the Advocacy Center’s mission to provide services to help identify, treat, and support children in abusive situations.

The golf tournament is in memory of Kieran May, a major supporter of the Advocacy Center who passed away in 2012. May, the owner of Coastal Business Products, was the golf tournament chair for three years and served on the Board for six years.
“This is our annual signature event for fundraising,” said The Advocacy Center’s CEO Julie Hurst. “Kieran May would be happy that the golf tournament is in his honor, but truly, Kieran was in it solely to heal the children, not for the notoriety or for any reason other than to benefit children.”
The Advocacy Center is seeking sponsors, auction items, attendees, and golfers. Current sponsors include Wayne & Amy Rogers, Kleinfeld Bridal, and Coastal Accounting.
The tournament cost is $400 per person, which includes two tickets to the Gala. Gala tickets are $250 per couple.
