Destin and Miramar Beach, Florida have been on a roll so far in December! With 122 properties closed and 62 new contracts secured for homes and condos combined, the area is seeing continued activity. Navarre Beach had 8 single-family home and condo sales in August and 4 properties placed under contract. November was a great month for real estate in Walton & Okaloosa.

A beautiful bay-front home in Kelly Plantation was the largest private sale to close in Destin in December. The two-story, four-bedroom home sold for $3.541 million. The highest-priced property to close in Miramar Beach was a bay-front, five-bedroom estate in Burnt Pine in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at $3.2 million.
The most expensive condo sold in Destin was a gulf-front, three-bedroom residence in St. Maarten at Silver Shells for $1.7 million. The highest-priced condo to sell in Miramar Beach in 2018 was a gulf-front, three-bedroom unit in Grand Dunes at $1.8 million.

The highest price home to sell was a gulf-front, three-bedroom residence for $1.44 million while the highest-priced condo to sell was a gulf-front, three-bedroom residence in Navarre Towers for $940,000.
