B-Modern Art Gallery recently announced “Epic Wednesdays,” a series of monthly art shows at its Seacrest Beach gallery. Epic Wednesdays will take place the second Wednesday of every month and will feature a collection of art relating to a central theme. Members of the public are invited to attend the first event in the series on Wednesday, August 9, from 6 to 9 pm.
“This month’s show will feature a collection of floral art,” gallery owner Brandi Lee Hezinger said. “I was inspired by the work of Georgia O’Keefe.”
The event will also include a floral motif painted on a live model, exclusively for August’s Epic Wednesday art show. Guests are encouraged to wear floral-inspired fashions to the event. The collection will be on display for a month and will feature the work of owner, Brandi Lee Hezinger, Julia Walsh, Karin Johannessen and Sofia Kathryn Papagni. Attendees will enjoy music, complimentary cocktails and light bites. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County.

“I’m excited to bring a monthly gallery night to 30A,” said Hezinger. “I hope Epic Wednesdays will be a great cultural event that will expose residents and visitors to new artists while also raising money for a good cause.”
B-Modern is the brainchild of Owner Brandi Lee Hezinger, a recent addition to the vibrant 30A artist community. A graduate of the Dallas Art Institute, Hezinger studied in France under acclaimed painter, Michel Nadai, and later studied printmaking and lithographs in Florence, Italy. As an artist, interior designer, and former art-school owner, B-Modern Art Gallery is a natural extension of Hezinger’s entrepreneurship. The gallery houses original modern art from local, national, and international artists, and features regular exhibitions, parties, and studio instruction.
