Description

Enjoy getting your hands dirty as you create functional pieces of pottery. Join Nancy Claxton for 4 days of learning the fundamentals of wheel throwing such as centering, pulling walls, trimming, decorating, and glazing your one-of-a-kind clay pieces. This class is for beginners with or without prior experience. Missed classes will not be made up. Consider wearing comfortable clothing and no jewelry.

Class time: 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Prior to retiring from a teaching career, Nancy Claxton decided to learn the creative hobby of ceramics. Years later she still enjoy this calming  outlet without the pressure of perfection. She hopes to share her journey and encourage you to be creative and have fun.
