Description

Learn and practice basic skills of weaving clay. In this 3 day class you will learn how to make flat coils and weave them together to create a trivet and a basket. The first session will be technique/construction of a trivet, and the second session will consist of using learned skills to create a basket. After your creations have been bisque fired, the third session will be for glazing. Please commit to attending all sessions as there will be no makeup times. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel.

This class is available for beginners ages 18+ with or without prior experience. No makeup days are available for missed classes.

Class dates: March 5, 6, and 19

Class time: 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Minimum Class Size: 4*

Maxiumum Class Size: 8
