Join us in the Alys Beach Amphitheatre on Thursday, July 4th to kick-off our favorite star-spangled holiday than with a good, old-fashioned donut eating contest! Proudly sponsored by Charlie’s Delights, whose donuts have long been an Alys Beach tradition, this contest is sure to be one for the record books. Whether you participate as a contestant or come to cheer on the eating, we invite you to join Alys Beach and Charlie’s Delights for a sweet and festive start to the Fourth of July celebrations.

The event schedule is listed below:

9:00 am Contestant Registration (Check-in/Waiver/Release)

9:30 am Contests to start and will flow through

Children’s contest (6 and under) – 8 donut holes- $5 entry fee

Youth contest age (7-12) – 2 donuts- $10 entry fee

Youth contest age (13-17) – 4 donuts- $10 entry fee

Adult contest age (18 and over) – 6 donuts- $15 entry fee

Contest Rules:

• Registration fees are non-refundable.
• Each contest is limited to the first 16 registered contestants.
• The contestant who finishes the allotted donuts completely first wins. The maximum time limit is 15 minutes.
• The event is rain or shine

To be declared the winner, the contestant must swallow all of their donuts.

Contestants will be given a bottle of water with their donuts.

A contestant who is sick or showing signs of illness will be disqualified.

Any person caught cheating will be disqualified.

There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner of each contest.
