Join natural dyer Sydni Gause in an eco-printing class where will design and print botanicals onto silk!

This class will employ a technique where we soak leaves in a dye bath that will yield beautiful purple and pink prints. Each participant will receive a 8×54 silk charmeuse scarf that we will learn to design, bundle, and steam together. In addition to the dye charged leaves we will also have an array of botanicals that will yield a range of colors!

Thursday, October 9 • 5:30-7:30pm

Ages: 16 & up

Cost: $85 member / $90 Not-Yet-Member

All supplies included.

Be sure to dress appropriately for this class. You will be working with dyes so there is the potential to get it on your clothes, shoes, etc.

Refund Policy:

Please double check your schedule when you sign up for a class because all classes, workshops, and series offered by the Center for the Arts are non-refundable.

Refunds are typically only made if there are unforeseeable circumstances with the instructor or facility. If you are sick and have to cancel, you may receive a partial refund, other than the instructor fees, for the class sessions. This is at the discretion of the Center for the Arts.
