Stories belong to every generation.
This month, we’re handing the microphone to some of our youngest storytellers for a special family-friendly evening that celebrates creativity, courage, and the joy of sharing a story aloud.
Join us for a special family-friendly edition of Emerald Coast Storytellers as we partner with our Junior Emerald Coast Storytellers chapter for an evening celebrating the voices of our youngest storytellers. Throughout the night, junior readers (approximately ages 8–13) will take the stage to share original stories inspired by this month’s theme before we welcome a special featured storyteller to close the evening.
Whether you’re cheering on a young writer, looking for a meaningful family night out, or simply love hearing stories through fresh eyes, this is a night for all ages.

What do you take with you? What do you leave behind?
As summer fades and familiar rhythms return, this month’s theme invites young storytellers to explore the things they carry into a new season—memories, lessons, friendships, traditions, hopes, fears, or even the things they’re ready to leave behind. Whether literal or symbolic, every story begins with something worth carrying.
This event features Junior Storytellers (approximately ages 8–13) sharing original stories.
Young storytellers can reserve a reading spot when registering online or sign up at the event if space is available. Stories should be approximately five minutes or less, and all experience levels are welcome. Whether it’s your very first time at the mic or you’ve shared before, we’d love to hear your story.
Kids attend free with a ticketed adult, making this the perfect opportunity to experience the magic of live storytelling together.
