Join us Saturday, December 2 from 2 – 5 p.m. for Sk8 2 Cre8, an Art in Park event to benefit the skatepark at Helen McCall Park at 325 Moll Dr. in Santa Rosa Beach. This free family-friendly event will feature a skate competition with prizes, live music, interactive art activities, food, raffles and a silent auction of custom skateboards painted by local artists including Allison Wickey, Andy Saczynski, Bradley Copeland, Garrett Spencer, Justin Gaffrey, Katherine Boggs, Lindsay Tobias, Maxine Orange, Nicolaus Seegal and Wes Hinds. During the event, we’ll unveil a new graffiti wall thanks to the generous support of Alex Najera Masonry, Bayou Concrete, Builder FirstSource, Huff Homes and Nichols Concrete.
Boards will be on display at the event. All bidding will be completed online. Winning bidders may pick up their boards at the event once the auction closes. If not picked up at the event, boards will be taken to the Sheriff’s sub-station on Highway 331 in Santa Rosa Beach for pick-up. Browse and bid at Sk82Cr8.givesmart.com.
This event is produced by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the Walton County Parks and Recreation Department and South Walton Skateboard Club with additional support from the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County.
