Karuna 30a, 30a Horse Farm at Arnett’s Gulfside, and generous community sponsors are crafting a fun fundraiser from 12:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on December 9, 2018, to raise funds to aid those impacted by Hurricane Michael.
“We wanted to focus on locals – and donations that stay local,” said organizer Rebecca Ison of the event’s beneficiaries United Way of Northwest Florida and Toys for Tots. “We’re focusing on our local United Way to help the families still displaced around Christmas time and collecting toys for Toys for Tots so the kids can have a little holiday cheer.”
The event includes two stages, over a dozen musical performances, children’s activities, and holiday-themed fun.
Boukou Groove
Current list of scheduled performers includes: Boukou Groove, Rust and Gold, A Neil Young Tribute, Forrest Williams Band, Scott Crompton, John Mark Turner, The Graytones, The HooDoos, Marc Harris & Band, Skylar Capi, Q’werty, Catalyst, Duck Phat featuring Billy Garrett, Franko and Washboard Jackson.
Tickets to the event are priced at $10 and can be purchased online here.
“We appreciate everyone who is helping us build a community event with a purpose. We will have s’mores station, bouncy houses, horse-drawn wagon rides, photos with Santa, Seaside Rep with ‘ Every Christmas Story Ever Told’, and so much more,” said Ison.
Currently, the Karuna team is accepting silent auction and raffle items which can be dropped off at Sunrise Coffee Co. in Gulf Place.
