A true 30A local, Kelsey has been creating her unique brand of music since she was 12 years old. For a decade, her haunting voice, powerful messages and youthful spirit made her a popular draw at venues and festivals along Scenic Highway 30A.
And while Kelsey Anna will always call 30A home, she recently migrated north to Nashville to put her talents to the test on the world stage.
“Landing a deal with Little Extra Music is something that Kelsey has been focused on for a long time,” said her ‘Stage Dad,’ Bobby Johnson of 30A Local Properties. “This publishing deal will allow Kelsey to be a paid writer and will give her time to really hone her craft.”
Such a deal not only enables Kelsey to spend more time writing, but it also gives her access to some of the best songwriters in the country. For example, she recently spent time in Boston writing with singer-songwriter Lori McKenna.
“This has been quite a journey,” said Johnson. “Doors keep opening, and I guess you could say our 30A songbird is representing!”
