For over twenty years, LAH Real Estate has served the Birmingham, Alabama market, earning a strong reputation of professionalism and expertise in marketing and selling real estate. Having created such success back home, LAH recently opened a new branch here at the beach, and appointed South Walton local Lisa Egstad as their Florida Broker Manager.

“Our goal is to grow the office with quality people,” said LAH Co-founder Maurice Humphries. “We want the 30A community to be proud to claim LAH as a member of its business family.”
With Egstad leading the new team, LAH’s 30A branch currently employs eight sales associates, whose mission is to be a unique company where clients and associates always come first.
“I am blessed to have such a quality group of Realtors on my team,” said Egstad. “No matter what a Seller or Buyer is looking for in a Realtor, I have someone who can meet their expectations.”

Egstad has clearly created an effective and supportive work environment. From one of her sales associate’s perspective, “having a broker that is willing to invest time and energy in you is priceless. My broker answers all of my calls and has taken so much time helping me through, each step of the way… I probably would’ve lost some of these deals without her guidance.”
With three locations and over 170 agents, LAH has become a member of the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, an invitation-only community accepting only those companies with outstanding reputations and performance levels. The organization links the most trusted brand names under a single umbrella to help consumers make new and reliable connections from market to market. And with so many Birmingham residents buying vacation homes here on 30A, those deep-rooted friendships and connections go a long way.
“Most of our customers are now our friends, and we get a lot of our business from referrals of their friends and relatives,” said Egstad.
Community is something that’s clearly important to LAH’s core philosophy. Not only does LAH support local school foundations — such as the Seaside Foundation, through their sponsorship of the Seaside Half Marathon and 5K — but they even have their own real estate school. LAH’s sister company, LAH Referral Inc., also enables people with “inactive” real estate licenses to reactivate, without the expense of association dues.
Overall, LAH sees a incredibly bright future for business at the beach, and is thrilled to have entered the 30A market.
“The LAH owners and I have a vision that we will be adding more offices and venturing into property management as opportunities arise,” said Egstad.
