Yes, for sure, Florida’s Scenic Highway 30A is a little slice of beachy heaven.

But, don’t be fooled! Believe it or not, living at the beach does have some downsides (although not many!). Of course, we always try to stay positive and shine some of that pure 30A sunshine into everyone’s lives, but if you’re thinking about moving to the beach permanently one day, we think it’s only right to share some of the “realities” that you might not see from the outside looking in.

We recently sat down with real estate agents Angela Ragsdale and Jimmy Burgess, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida, to discuss the many wonderful perks of life along 30A… the good, the bad and the ugly.
