IMPORTANT TIPS:

ZOOM +

Bring a chair, cooler, blanket or anything else you like to enjoy a fun evening of music.

However, please note that it’s a walk from the parking lot to the stage area, so pack light and wear sensible shoes. To lighten your load, bring a chair, but consider leaving your cooler at home — 100% of all donations for beer and wine go to support Eden Gardens State Park anyway!

There will be overflow parking at Bay Elementary and Audubon Point. Sunshine Shuttle will offer free shuttle rides to and from these parking areas. Consider parking at Audubon Point during the pre-party from 5-7pm, then take the free shuttle to Eden!

This event is dog friendly — but please make sure your pets are on a leash!

Please note that alcohol is not allowed in Eden Gardens State Park until AFTER SUNSET, which will be at 7:40 PM.

The Locals Last Stand party is FREE and open to the public, although donations to The Friends of Eden will be greatly appreciated.

Bring plenty of cash for food, LOCALS LAST STAND shirts and raffle tickets. We have some AMAZING prizes to give away, including a 2-night stay at The Pearl, a $1,500 pearl necklace from La Vie Est Belle, a YETI cooler from Emerald Homes, a Borago gift certificate, a 30A Beach Chair by Sunrise Chair Company and more!

100% of all proceeds from this event will benefit The Friends of Eden, a local non-profit organization that works to help maintain the park.

Food will be available for sale by Longleaf Mobile Kitchen and Grayton Beach Catering, and beer and wine will be available for donation starting at 7:40 PM. Our friends at Grayton Beer have graciously donated several kegs of delicious craft beer to support the cause, and Emerald Coast Wine and Spirits has donated wine! Beer and wine will be available for donations.

Wear long pants and bring bug spray!

Bring a flashlight for the walk back to your car following the event.

Handicap parking and seating areas will be available for guests with special needs. If you have special needs, please notify one of the parking volunteers when you arrive.

ABOUT THE ‘LOCALS LAST STAND’:

Emerald_Homes_Logo_RGBFollowing the success of last year’s inaugural LOCALS LAST STAND party, 30A.com has partnered with The Friends of Eden and Emerald Homes to host the 2nd annual celebration. This year, the free party and concert will be held at Eden Gardens State Park on the evening of Thursday, May 22nd.

“After a successful Spring Break, we’re all preparing for a very busy summer,” said 30A’s Mike Ragsdale. “This party gives us one last chance to all come together before our summer guests arrive in full force.”

Last year’s free concert included performances by local favorites Dread Clampitt, Forrest Williams Band and Cadillac Willy. This year, The Scott Rockwood Trio, Boukou Groove and The Wildlife Specials will take center stage, followed by an all-out jam session loaded with local talent.

“We are excited to be part of this now annual event and invite all local musicians out for an epic jam session with The Wildlife Specials and Boukou Grove at one of Santa Rosa Beach’s most idyllic spots,” said Scott Crompton of Huka Entertainment and member of The Wildlife Specials.
