Allison Wickey, a local artist based in Blue Mountain Beach on 30A since 2007, originally hails from Belleville, Illinois. After discovering her artistic talent in college, she pursued a career in faux finish and mural painting before relocating to 30A with her family. Inspired by the beauty of the beach, Allison began creating unique artworks using venetian plaster and glazes on wooden canvases. Her distinctive style gained recognition, leading to accolades such as South Walton Artist of the Year in 2011 and Best Gallery on the Emerald Coast in 2012. Despite transitioning from gallery ownership to a shared studio space in Santa Rosa Beach, Allison remains an active contributor to the local arts scene, serving on the board of the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County and co-founding the Underwater Museum of Art. Today, she continues to pursue her passion for art while welcoming visitors to her studio.
