One of 30A’s Favorite Traditions Returns to WaterColor Nov 6-7

Entering its 15th year, the Telluride MountainFilm on Tour returns to WaterColor Inn & Resort’s Marina Park, an outdoor theater. The popular 30A tradition will be held November 6-7, and will showcase a selection of films from the International Film Festival that further MountainFilm’s mission of exploring cultures, preserving environments, and promoting adventure.

Delta Air Lines and Visit South Walton are sponsoring the outdoor festival, which will once again incorporate Kidz Kino, a mini-festival for attendees ages 6-12 that features kid-friendly films at the WaterColor BoatHouse.

Film selections cover a wide range of topics, from the light-hearted urban sport showcased in “Drainage Ditch Kayak,” to the emotional account of a community working together to rebuild their Colorado town after torrential flooding in “Knee Deep.”

“MountainFilm has been a vital component of our events calendar for the past 15 years,” said Andrew Czarnecki, managing director of resort operations for St. Joe Club & Resorts. “The support of this community and film enthusiasts alike make the festival stronger each year.”

To fully immerse in the experience, those who stay at the WaterColor Inn & Resort during MountainFilm on Tour can take advantage of a festival lodging package, priced at $485 per night, which includes two nights (minimum) in a beachfront guest room at the Inn, as well as two complimentary tickets to both nights of the event.
