If you have yet to visit the colorful Shops at Grayton, here’s (yet) another reason. One of the newest on the block, Nanbu Noodle Bar, joined the scene in early 2019 and ever since has been serving up a hip atmosphere and food that, according to patrons, is “out of this world.”
Here on 30A, the options are plentiful for fresh seafood, juicy burgers, and flavorful tacos, but Chef Nikhil of the fabulous fine dining restaurant Roux 30A (located just around the corner) wanted to offer something unique. What grew from there was Asian Fusion with a Southern Flair, featuring a fresh take on fan-favorites like their ramen and pok é bowls, daily selection of hand-rolled dumplings, steamed buns, and all the saké your heart could desire. Let’s take a look around, shall we?
The word Nanbu is Japanese for “southerner” and inspired by the unique sense of warmth and hospitality you find only when you venture south.
Their daily dumpling selections feature a meat and veggie option and are hand-rolled every day!

Hot or cold, glass or bottle, their saké menu has got it all.
Did someone say canned saké?
Kikisui’s Perfect Snow saké is unfiltered, giving it this uniquely cloudy look.
Nanbu’s Yaki Ramen is a specialty noodle dish stir-fried and dressed with all the fixings. Available in Chicken, Korean BBQ, and Tofu.
The Noodle Bar makes all their sauces right here in house, including this chili aioli that pairs perfectly with their blistered shishito pepper appetizer.
At Nanbu, they pride themselves on their unique Japanese-inspired cuisine with a southern flair, as a nod to the place they call home. Their signature Nanbu Noodle Bowl is a celebration of that. Kurobuta BBQ pork shoulder topped with collards, corn, egg, scallion, and a double broth.
Vegetarians welcome! The Assari Vegetable Ramen is sure to brighten your day in more ways than one. This flavorful bowl features carrot, nori, tofu, enoki, bok choy, and bamboo shoots, and finished off with a sprinkle of scallions and cilantro.
Nanbu Noodle Bar is the brainchild of Chef Nikhil Abuvala of Roux 30a. “The concept behind it stems from a desire to not only bring that exciting, big city flair to our quaint Florida beach town, but to offer a fresh, clean, and healthy cuisine to the area.
