The Gullos travel the world in search of architecturally unique pieces to fill the new boutique, which is substantially larger than their previous location.
“We put a lot of time and effort into choosing the pieces,” said Marisol. “that way we can guarantee each one is special.”
From sconces to armoires, Marisol’s philosophy is simple and authentic: re-found, revived, re-loved. In addition to “re-loving” vintage furnishings, Marisol and Tony also build custom furniture and offer a line of custom linens, upholstery and lighting.
“Every piece speaks to me, and I love to see how the pieces transform from average to exceptional,” said Marisol. Upon returning to her studio with treasures (as she calls them), Marisol hand-mixes colors to create the perfect palette to restore the furnishings and uphold their artisanship.
