That meant running seine nets, cast nets, gill nets, crab traps and fishing was his way of life. The bounties were then prepared daily using recipes that have been passed down for generations. Having been asked about these ‘heritage recipes’ time and time again by locals and tourists alike, it occurred to Robert that he could bring together the two things that he truly loves — cooking and sharing his coastal heritage.
“Folks deserve a chance to experience the real deal,” said Davenport. “Enjoying in the preparation is a major part of our culture. The smells, colors, camaraderie and stories create everlasting memories.”
So, he contacted his buddies Bruce and Jr. McCullough — owners and operators of the Captain Wil-B shrimp boat — and shared his vision of providing true, fresh, locally harvested shrimp boils.
“We show up in your back yard, and you show up however you want,” said Davenport. “We will prepare, cook, serve and clean a feast fit for a southern king and his court. No dinner is too small or too large. We guarantee that you will experience a true southern shrimp boil without comparison.”

Davenport said that the food must be 100% local and fresh, and that seeing the look on someone’s face when he pours the shrimp, onion, lime, lemon, potatoes, corn and sausage down the middle of the table is priceless.
