WHAT: Creative Writing Workshop with author John Dufresne
The short fiction workshop will meet from 9 a.m. to noon to discuss the stories you’ve written. Dufresne will address concerns about writing and storytelling and lecture on narrative techniques and the fiction writing process. Writing exercises designed to give imaginations opportunities will complement the workshop. Dufresne will also meet individually in conference with each student. In the late afternoon, students will gather for social time and informal discussions of the writing business. WHAT:Architectural Photography and Composition Workshop with Steven Brooke
The dynamic 5-day workshop combines the history of architectural depiction and composition with an accessible approach to the technical demands of photographing architecture, landscape, and interiors. The workshop is suitable for students of all ability levels and backgrounds –from professional architects and real estate professionals, to travelers for whom architecture and design is a passion. The workshop covers the photography of individual buildings, streetscapes, landscapes, interiors, and night photography, and includes instruction in photographic techniques, composition and post-production.
