Congrats to local Tracy Louthain, APR, of Tracy Louthain Communications (“TLC”)… She’s now one of only 75 Certified Public Relations Counselors in the entire state of Florida!
She was just recognized for this achievement at the 74th Annual Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Conference in St. Augustine.
The certification recognizes professional growth and achievement of senior members. The credential is Florida’s highest PR designation, and may only be earned after a public relations practitioner earns the national APR accreditation and has a minimum of 10 years experience. CPRC certification is achieved by completing a one-hour oral presentation and passing a six-hour written exam, which challenges the candidate’s personal knowledge, skills and abilities and demonstrates proven expertise.
Louthain is a graduate of Florida State University and has more than 17 years experience in marketing and public relations. She launched TLC in August of last year, and represents various tourism, retail, and art and entertainment clients. Louthain was previously the director of communications for the South Walton Tourist Development Council (TDC) and has worked for several PR agencies, including Edelman-Atlanta and Moore Communications Group-Tallahassee.
Congrats, Tracy! We’re proud of you….
