Sunset Bay Cafe, a new restaurant offering breakfast and lunch, will open in late February at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. The restaurant has a tentative opening date of February 25.

The restaurant owners are local businessmen, Captain Gary Jarvis, also owner of the charter and commercial fishing company, Back Down 2, Inc., and his son, local restaurateur, Bryce Jarvis.

Sunset Bay Cafe will be located on the Bay side of Sandestin near the Linkside Conference Center. Aside from a variety of menu options, the dining outlet will offer spectacular views of Choctawhatchee Bay.

“My passion for big flavors, fresh sustainable ingredients and personal service will make for a great dining experience by the bay,” said Bryce Jarvis.

Bryce Jarvis possesses nearly two decades in the restaurant industry and is known along the Emerald Coast as a proprietor of fine dining establishments and local catering companies. His food and beverage background also includes corporate management training and managing partnership roles with Darden Restaurants, a global leader in hospitality and restaurant operations.
