The Bay The Bay and Borago are joining forces with 30A and YOLO Board to host a party and paddle board event to celebrate the end of the long, busy summer season.
The party will begin at noon the day after Labor Day at The Bay with food stations, live music on the sand, beach games, drink specials and lots of fun in the water. The live music line-up at The Bay includes Mose and The Delta Twang at noon, followed by The Graytones at 2:30 p.m.
At 4:30 p.m., the YOLO Board Bay2Borago Paddle will begin, going from The Bay to Borago where the party will continue into the night. Borago will host live music on the beach including Pickled Pickers at 5 p.m. and Dread Clampitt at 7:30 p.m. Guests can also enjoy food stations there plus beach games and drink specials from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.
It’s an all-day beach bash!
Those keen to paddle just need to bring their board. There is no fee to participate. The YOLO Board Bay2Borago paddle departs from The Bay’s beach at 4:30 p.m., goes under the 331 Bridge and finishes at Borago, where the party continues. As the racers come in, winners of prizes from YOLO Board, 30A and gift cards from The Bay and Borago will be announced. Everyone completing the Bay2Borago paddle will receive an End of Summer Throw Down t-shirt. Those not paddling can can easily walk across the street and keep the party going.
