YOLO Board has introduces a diverse program of activities branded, YOLO Board Adventures designed to celebrate the dynamic waters and environment of Florida’s Gulf Coast.
The area attracts people from across the U.S., and results in a multi-billion dollar tourism economy in South Walton alone.
Tourism businesses are increasingly incorporating activities to meet the latest consumer trend of traveling not just to stay, but to do more. Locals too value their coastal lifestyle and the many unique activities available here for enjoying the outdoors.
It was perhaps destined that YOLO Board, the family-founded standup paddle board company that began in South Walton 10 years ago, would quickly become as much about lifestyle and adventures as design and development.
The lifestyle brand today includes signature bicycles, coffee, apparel, paddles and now adventures.
“We’re excited to expand offerings to those wanting a little adventure in their life, even if just during a short visit to the Gulf Coast,” said Jeff Archer, CEO of YOLO Board.
“The opportunity to paddle with us, pedal with us, discover well-being or make your own path is at the core of the YOLO Tribe’s values.”
It has become clear to the company that the general challenge for people is rarely the activity, it’s taking the step to actually get out and do it. To make it easier for people to get started, YOLO is now offering a carefully curated and reoccurring schedule of activities.
The daily schedule provides something for everyone, and many opportunities are free, with most led by the YOLO Tribe family.
Options include friendly paddles, bonfires, bike rides, fitness training, yoga, lessons and more.
“When a company like AirBnB launches experiences as a prominent portion of their platform, it only reinforces the effort we are making to give opportunity to those looking to enjoy the ride even more,” said Jon Ervin, director of marketing for YOLO Board.
