Marsh, or T-Marsh, as he is known, is an accomplished athlete who recently finished second in the 12’6″ division of the Hanohano Huki Ocean Challenge in San Diego, Calif.
“I’m very happy to be a part of the YOLO family, a team that defines what it means to be both professional and communal,” Marshall said.
Marshall, a Dallas native, said he is also excited for what getting signed to the team means for paddle boarding in Texas, which has only recently become a hot spot for the sport.
Marshall is the founder and owner of DFW Surf, a surf shop and paddle school in North Texas that provides paddle and wake-surfing lessons, camps and boat charters on Lake Grapevine. He is an integral part of the water sports community in the Dallas area and hopes that interest will continue to grow.
Jeff Archer, founder and CEO of YOLO Board, said Marshall exemplifies what the company looks for in a racer.
“He is a super athlete with a both positive attitude in life and an undeniable stoke for the sport of standup paddleboarding,” Archer said. “He works daily to spread awareness and bring the SUP community together, and we’re excited to support him and watch him race as part of the YOLO Board team.”
