Thanksgiving morning begins with miles, community and purpose.
One of the Florida Gulf Coast’s most beloved holiday traditions returns for its 15th year as the 30A 10K Thanksgiving Day Races take over scenic Rosemary Beach on Thursday, November 26, 2026.
Before the turkey goes in the oven and families gather around the Thanksgiving table, thousands of runners, walkers, volunteers and spectators will begin the holiday with a morning of fitness, family, community and charitable giving.
What began as a local Thanksgiving race has grown into one of the Southeast’s premier holiday running events, drawing participants from across the country who return year after year.

The milestone anniversary will feature a 10K, 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run, with a distance for runners and walkers of different ages and abilities. All three races will begin and end on Scenic Highway 30A in the heart of Rosemary Beach, with start times staggered by distance.
Early-bird registration is now open through August 10, 2026. REGISTER HERE!
Registration fees are:
10K and 5K: $75 plus signup fee
1-Mile Fun Run: $30 plus signup fee
Whether you are an experienced runner chasing a personal best, looking for a memorable way to begin Thanksgiving with family and friends, or simply hoping to support local charities, there is a race for everyone.
The USATF-certified courses are recognized among the South’s top turkey trots, winding through the coastal beauty of Scenic Highway 30A and the seaside community of Rosemary Beach.
Awards will be presented to top finishers as well as runners wearing the most festive costumes. Every participant will receive a custom finisher medal, official race shirt and post-race treats.
The celebration continues after runners cross the finish line, with a lively party featuring a local DJ, refreshments, vendor booths and a Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar for the grown-ups.
While runners may come for the scenic courses and festive atmosphere, the heart of the 30A 10K has always been its charitable mission.
Over the past 15 years, the organization has donated more than $1 million to local nonprofit organizations, supporting programs that improve the lives of children and families throughout Walton County and Northwest Florida.
The four charity partners benefiting from the 2026 races are: Children’s Volunteer Health Network, Children in Crisis,
Habitat for Humanity of Walton County, and Bailey Brigade.
Each race registration helps these organizations continue their work in the community, making every mile count for something greater.
“Children in Crisis is deeply grateful to the 30A 10K team, every volunteer, and each supporter who makes this event possible,” said Justin Schwab, Children in Crisis development manager. “The overwhelming participation, preparation and dedication shown through this partnership created a direct and lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable children throughout Northwest Florida.”
Corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available for the 2026 event.
With thousands of runners and spectators expected throughout race weekend, the 30A 10K gives local businesses an opportunity to connect with an engaged audience while supporting four important community organizations.
Custom sponsorship packages are available, allowing businesses and organizations to become part of one of Walton County’s most impactful annual traditions. Interested sponsors are encouraged to reserve their packages early to receive the greatest possible exposure from the partnership.
