Recognized as one of the Top 10 Thanksgiving Day races in America by Southern Living, the 30A10K has been providing locals and visitors alike with a fun-filled road race that not only is good for the body, but good for the soul. This year’s race will take place Thursday, November 26, 2020.
Each year, the event selects a handful of charities to help make the race a success. Every charity works with the race team to help market the event and volunteer on race day. As the 30A 10K prepares for the annual running festival, the organization continues its long-standing tradition of seeking charity partners for the 2020 event.
Applications for charity partners may be found on 30A10K.com, and are due March 31, 2020.
“We are thrilled to have donated more than $420,000 to local charities in the past eight years,” said Race Director Karen Meadows. “It is so rewarding to work with area non-profits and see the difference they make in our community.”
“It’s a team effort,” said co-race director Amy Stoyles. “We couldn’t do this without the support of all our sponsors and charity partner volunteers.”
Runners of all ages can enjoy this fun, family-friendly series of events with 10K, 5K, and 1-mile races. All start and finish in Rosemary Beach.
