The 30A Company is launching a bold new campaign in 2025 to support Scenic Walton, a local non-profit committed to preserving and enhancing Walton County’s beauty, safety, and infrastructure.

The mission? To raise $100,000 for Scenic Walton by inspiring both locals and visitors to purchase Florida’s official Scenic Walton / 30A Charity License Plate.

The goal builds upon the incredible success of the partnership so far, which has already generated over $84,000 for Scenic Walton, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Walton County.

By purchasing a 30A Charity License Plate, residents and visitors alike can directly support Scenic Walton’s mission to beautify and improve Walton County. From landscaping roadway medians and expanding pedestrian and cycling infrastructure to promoting underground utilities, the projects pursued by Scenic Walton make a tangible impact across the entire county. Exciting examples include the recently completed pedestrian/cyclist underpass at the intersection of 98 and 30A in Inlet Beach, gateway landscape projects at both the eastern and western entryways along 98, an upcoming landscape project at the northern entryway into the City of Freeport on 331, and an initiative in cooperation with the Emergency Management Department of Walton County to craft a plan to underground overhead utility poles and wires countywide. 

“All of the money goes to promote beautification and safety projects throughout Walton County, not just along the beach,” said Leigh Moore, Executive Director of Scenic Walton. “These plates provide a simple, affordable way for everyone to contribute to keeping Walton County safe, scenic, and sustainable.”

Designed by Gulf Coast native Jake Meyer, the license plate proudly features the iconic blue 30A logo set against a silhouette of Western Lake, one of Walton County’s most beloved and recognizable natural landmarks. Ordering your 30A Charity License Plate is easy, whether you’re a local or a visitor with a vehicle registered in Florida eager to support Walton County.

5. Relax and wait for your new plates to be delivered straight to your doorstep!

Plates are available for $66.90 at your local Florida Tax Collector’s Office or $72.35 online, which includes a $5.45 shipping fee.

There’s also an annual renewal fee of $30, ensuring ongoing support for Scenic Walton’s initiatives. 

“The 30A / Scenic Walton tags are the only specialty plates that generate revenue exclusively for community projects in Walton County,” Moore emphasized. “Every plate sold helps fund initiatives that make Walton County an even better place to live, work, and visit.”

The success of the 30A Charity License Plate campaign is a testament to the strength and generosity of the Walton County community. Over 3,000 people have already registered for the tag, rallying together to make this campaign a reality. The effort has been further bolstered by an extremely generous grant from the J.W. Couch Foundation, as well as support from local officials, media partners, and influencers.
