In 2012, local Danny Margagliano was paralyzed from the shoulders down, changing his life forever. In his first interview since the accident, Margagliano talks with 30A Radio about his vivid memories from that day and how since then he’s been able to make an even better life.

From age 19 through 28, Margagliano was a professional surfer, catching some of the best waves in the world in the Caribbean, Central America, California, Hawaii and the eastern coast of the United States. After moving to the 30A area, he wanted to help people, so he became a firefighter and paramedic at the South Walton Fire District for five years until he was injured diving off a boat in Destin.

Today, the 40-year-old is one of the top-producing sellers at 30A Local Properties and an inspiration for so many in his community and beyond.
