Of course, in addition to choosing the proper attire, it’s also essential to protect any exposed skin from the sun’s harmful U.V. rays.

Sandy Weiner — Registered Nurse and Licensed Esthetician at 30A’s Aesthetic Clinique — said that the sun accounts for approximately 90 percent of premature aging and is also responsible for dangerous skin cancers.

She said that the more we can do to protect our skin from the sun, the healthier and more youthful our skin will appear for years to come.
