Registrations are now open for the 2013 30A 10K & 1 Mile Fun Run, to be held again on Thanksgiving in Rosemary Beach.
This fun annual event — which SOLD OUT last year at 800 registrations — is gearing up to be even bigger and better this year! Over the years, long distance running has become synonymous with the noble cause of raising funds for charities, and the 30A 10K is certainly no exception.
Last year, the event raised $18,000 for Donations4Danny, a charity that supports the medical needs of South Walton fireman Danny Margagliano, who was paralyzed in an accident.
This year, our goal is to raise DOUBLE the proceeds, all to benefit three local charities: Donations 4 Danny, Food for Thought Outreach and Lighthouse Family Retreat.
