The race event consists of a series of four endurance-building races that take place from May to August, with race paddlers competing for the champion title. All events will be held at YOLO Board Adventures at Baytowne Marina.
Scheduled race dates (weather permitting) are May 25 (one mile race), June 15 (two mile race), July 20 (three mile race) and August 10 (four mile race). There’s also a 1 Mile Fun Race and Free Kids Race at each event.
There’s a one-time entry fee of $85 per racer for the four race series, which includes a complimentary event t-shirt, four pre-race clinics, refreshments and other swag. Single race entry is $35 per person the day of each event. Registration starts at 8:00am followed by pre-race clinic at 8:30am and races at 9:00am. All events are open to the public and provide spectators the chance to cheer on their favorite racers and be a part of the world’s fastest growing watersport.
