Back Beach Barbecue is celebrating their one-year anniversary with an inaugural Hog Bash from 2-9 p.m. on June 19.
Guests are invited to enjoy two whole hog roasts, live music by Kevin Melvin, giveaways and refreshments provided by local breweries, Grayton Beer Company and Idyll Hounds.
Back Beach Barbecue opened its doors in June 2017 and is owned and operated by Danny and Monica Cosenzi, the duo behind the famed Restaurant Paradis located in Rosemary Beach, Florida.
Since their opening, Back Beach Barbecue has served locals and visitors alike from their simple yet refined menu of slow-cooked meats, homemade sides and sauces, as well as gluten free options.
Back Beach Barbecue has partnered with its sister restaurant, Restaurant Paradis, along with Buddy’s Seafood, Grayton Beer Company, and Idyll Hounds Brewing Company for the event. Each sponsor will be providing food, refreshments, and various raffle prizes. Every attendee will be entered into the raffle upon arrival and winners will be announced throughout the day.
For $15, guests will receive a plate filled with pulled pork, barbeque baked beans, and coleslaw.
Back Beach will be roasting two whole pigs, beginning at 2 p.m., and have live music by local musician, Kevin Melvin, from 5-8 p.m.
To commemorate the restaurant’s anniversary, Back Beach Barbecue will be donating a portion of the proceeds to South Walton Academy, a private, non-profit inclusion school in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
The school serves all children up to the sixth grade while working to bridge the gap between communication and children with Autism.
