Independence Day Celebration: Morning Block Party

Seaside’s Fourth of July block party begins at 9 a.m. with Emerald Coast Theatre Company performing Ragged Old Flag, the National Anthem and a full patriotic performance in honor of America’s 250th birthday. Live music from Huck & Lily follows at 10 a.m., before the Children’s Patriotic Bike Parade rolls out at 11 a.m. with a brass band leading the way.

The morning wraps with Wild Bill’s Beach Dogs bringing the fun at the annual Hot Dog Eating Contest at 11:30 a.m. Expect a festive, high-energy Seaside morning with music, performances, patriotic spirit and plenty of family-friendly fun.
