The Watersound community has announced Discover Watersound Weekend, a three-day experience taking place October 2 through 4, 2026. Designed to offer a closer look at life in the community, the weekend will bring together neighborhood tours, live music, family activities, and several coastal experiences across Watersound.
The weekend includes opportunities to visit several Watersound residential communities, learn about available homes and amenities, and attend events at Watersound Town Center and the Watersound Beach Club.
Advance registration is required for Discover Watersound Weekend activities. Guests can register and find additional details at watersound.com/discover-watersound.
Special lodging rates will also be available at WaterColor Inn and The Lodge 30A for guests attending the weekend.

The weekend begins with a welcome reception where guests can meet Watersound community representatives, learn about the area’s residential options, and ask questions about the weekend ahead.

Following the welcome reception, guests can attend the First Friday Concert Series. The free, family-friendly event features live music at The Pavilion, with space to dance, relax, and gather with friends and family.

Visitors can explore a range of residential communities, including Watersound Origins, Watersound Camp Creek, Latitude Margaritaville Watersound and Watersound Fountains.
Tours will offer a look at available homes, custom homesites, neighborhood amenities and the natural surroundings of each community. Guests can visit the participating sales centers individually throughout the day.

Guests may also participate in the Minto Matchpoint Pickleball Tournament at Latitude Margaritaville Watersound. The event is separate from the general community tours and requires advance registration.

Saturday concludes with a beachfront bonfire at the private Watersound Beach Club. The gathering offers guests a chance to spend time by the Gulf and experience one of the community’s signature coastal amenities.

Community tours continue Sunday for visitors who would like more time to explore the residential options available throughout Watersound.
Guests can revisit participating communities or tour neighborhoods they were unable to see on Saturday.

The Watersound Block Party serves as the closing event of Discover Watersound Weekend and one of the weekend’s main community gatherings.
The afternoon will include live music, local food trucks, lawn games, giveaways, and children’s activities such as face painting and balloon art. The event offers visitors a relaxed way to experience the atmosphere of Watersound Town Center and spend time with residents and other guests.
Discover Watersound Weekend is open to people at different stages of the home-search process, including those considering a primary residence, a vacation home, an investment property, a retirement community, or a Watersound Club membership.
