Longtime locals are celebrating the return of the famous Elephant Walk restaurant to Sandestin’s shores.
Featuring fresh local seafood brought in daily from Destin Ice, Elephant Walk still offers their signature dish, Grouper Elizabeth, along with new creations by Chef Mike McAnulla including Shrimp and Grits, Pepper Crusted Seared Tuna, Sauteed Red Snapper, Fruitti De Mare, steaks and more. A diverse wine list and specialty cocktails also make the Elephant Walk’s deck the perfect happy hour spot for visitors coming off the beach (or locals finishing their work day).
“We are excited to bring back the tradition of Elephant Walk to Sandestin,” said Co-owner Tom Rice. “The restaurant has not only a stunning location overlooking the Gulf, but holds so many treasured memories for locals and visitors alike.”
The second level of Elephant Walk (known as the “Governor’s Attic”) offers groups semi-private dining for approximately 40-50 guests. Still undergoing redevelopment, the Governor’s Attic will be available for reservations in early May.
Elephant Walk is now open daily at 5pm. For reservations, call 850-267-4800 or visit elephantwalkatsandestin.com.
