Rosemary Beach Foundation presents the 2018 Fall Bocce Ball Tournament on October 7, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. The tournament will get rolling at the East Long Green Park.

Bocce rules are simple: there are two teams, and the match begins with a member of one team throwing a small ball, called the pallino from one end of the court to another. Then, the teams switch off throwing larger balls, called the bocce, at the pallino. When all balls have been played, one team is awarded one point for each bocce ball closer to the pallino than the closest ball of the opposing team.

Whether you are a player or a spectator, join in for a day of friendly competition, food, drinks and fun.

Prizes will be awarded to first and second place Fall Tournament Winners.

The tournament is limited to 64 Teams. Participants are requested to register early. Matching team outfits are highly encouraged. Participants are requested to bring their own bocce balls.

The 2018 Fall Bocce Tournament benefits Rosemary Beach Foundation and its charitable partner, Habitat for Humanity Walton County.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. Habitat builds strength, stability, and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.
