South Walton’s signature acrylic and contemporary artist Justin Gaffrey has introduced a new creative endeavor – Curate. Located in Rosemary Beach, across from the award winning Pearl Hotel, Curate is an artistic concept store celebrating the intersection of process, story and design.
With the intent to both honor and elevate the traditional retail and art gallery experiences, Curate will include collections from a diverse range of designers and makers across the globe.
Gaffrey sought the creative input of Christie Casillo, designer of locally made leather goods collection Coastal Road and her Brand Manager Megan Trent to assist in sourcing unique, one-of-a-kind products.
“Our intention for Curate is to bring collaboration in all forms,” said Gaffrey. “We want to connect to a broader community and enhance the opportunity for those who seek to discover new things. Our goal is to connect ones who live and visit Rosemary and South Walton directly with exceptional products that carry soul and story.”

Curate will evolve with each season, introducing new collections, one-of-a-kind collaborative designs, ‘Meet the Maker’ events and experiences.
Along with the works from Justin Gaffrey, the shop will initially introduce several new designers and collections including Samantha Verrone Textiles, Lio & Linn Home Decor, Elizabeth Benotti Ceramics, Souda Design, Nouvelle Glassware and Fog Linen Work from Japan.
“We hope Curate will be a place that both our visitors and our locals make a ‘must see’ destination each time they are near Rosemary Beach,” said Christie Casillo.
“Because the products are sourced with knowledge and appreciation of the hearts, minds and hands behind them, we hope our customers feel that difference each time they visit the space.”
