The eighth annual Cottages for Kids, benefiting Children’s Volunteer Health Network, will take place in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin from October 31 through November 9.

Grand Boulevard’s Grand Park will be transformednto a small village debuting designer cottages. Some will look like they have popped out of the pages of a fairytale book, while others will be more modern creations brimming with creativity.

“These builders are amazingly generous people,” said Children’s Volunteer Health Network Executive Director, Zach Billingsley. “They are stepping away from their own businesses to donate time, materials and labor all to help raise funding for our local kids who are in dire need of medical and dental care. These builders are going change lives right here in our community.”

The cottages make ideal Christmas presents for children who love to play outside. Three of the cottages will be up for bid this year and one will be raffled. Raffle tickets are only $5, so a lucky winner can own one of these creations for only $5 dollars. Anyone can bid or purchase raffle tickets at the event site or online at Cottages for Kids.

Gates open on October 31 at 12 p.m. and will be open through November 9. The timings are: Friday and Saturdays from 12:00 – 8:00 pm and all other days from 4:00-7:00 pm. All open times are also available online at Cottages for Kids and will be posted at the event site.

A costume contest will take place after the story telling.
