This is SWEETIE, a Rat Terrier mix who is totally true to her name. Sweetie arrived at Alaqua Animal Refuge with her litter of five beautiful babies. After making sure that all her puppies found their forever homes, it was decided that Sweetie would be a perfect candidate for the Unconditional Love Program. She thought this was a great idea as well, and off she went.

It was no surprise to anyone that she came back to Alaqua in proud possession of her Canine Good Citizenship certificate. Now Sweetie is eager to achieve her next goal, which is to meet a fantastic family wanting to welcome her into their lives. This amazing little dog is confident that her special someone will be impressed when she shows off all the commands she learned while earning her certification. Sweetie is very sociable and adores playtime with her Alaqua pals.

There’s no doubt about it, with her excellent social skills and her great personality, Sweetie will make the perfect canine companion. Add a pair of big brown eyes into the mix and you have a winning combination that is difficult to resist.
