Chef Teofilo Tundidor, known as Chef T, was recently promoted from Sous Chef to Executive Chef at Café Thirty-A in Seagrove Beach.
The Florida native attended Johnson & Whales University College of Culinary Arts in Miami from 2000-2002. Chef T has worked at Café Thirty-A on and off for ten years, leaving only to further his training and broaden his skill set in different environments. His most recent position before returning to Santa Rosa Beach was at Sea Island as Chef de Cuisine at Southern Tide.
Chef T is excited to make some innovative changes on the menu that will offer guests a light and healthy selection using as much farm-to-table products as possible. Covey Rise Farms is one main supplier to Café Thirty-A.
Harriet Crommelin, owner of the popular fine-dining restaurant, has great faith in Chef T’s abilities and looks forward to watching the menu evolve. Chef T is thrilled to accept the position and looks forward to a great career at Café Thirty-A.
“I get to use my craft to express myself through food, that’s the best part,” said Chef T.
Café Thirty-A offers casual fine-dining featuring a contemporary eclectic menu, which changes daily. An award winning fine wine list and a world famous martini list add to the experience. Café Thirty-A has been consistently delicious since 1995 and is known for fabulous food, impeccable service and gracious hospitality.
