Get ready to dress up as your favorite superhero or glittering princess — the Capes & Crowns Fun Run and 5K is back at The Village of Baytowne Wharf on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Tree House Episcopal Montessori School.

Packet pick-up will be held the day before the race on Friday, November 4, from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Christ the King Episcopal Church and also on race day, Saturday, November 5, from 7 – 8:30 a.m. at The Village of Baytowne Wharf located. The 5K begins at 9 a.m. and the Half Mile Fun Run at 10 a.m.

Kids can also enjoy face painting by Abrakadoodle, superhero and princess appearances from Enchanted Parties, a family-friendly post-race party with games, and snacks and treats provided by Another Broken Egg, Smallcakes and Menchies.

Prizes and medals will be awarded to two overall finishers of 5K race (Overall Male/Overall Female).

There will be no refund if race is cancelled due to weather. This is a pet friendly event. Registered participants are welcome to participate in the Half Mile Fun Run with their 5K bib (no need to buy two registrations per person). Strollers and pets are welcome to join the fun too!
