Art Meets Architecture!
Alys Beach is about to shine – literally. The 18th Annual Digital Graffiti Festival is back May 16–17, 2025, transforming the iconic white walls of this chic 30A town into a radiant, open-air art gallery.
Dubbed one of the world’s most unconventional art destinations by National Geographic, Digital Graffiti blends architecture and technology in a spectacular celebration of projection art, light, and imagination.

More than just a display, this juried festival is a living, breathing experience. Artists from around the globe project their digital masterpieces across the sleek, geometric canvas of Alys Beach. With work spanning projection mapping, generative visuals, animation, soundscapes, and light-responsive installations, every corner tells a new story.
Curated by media arts veteran John Colette, the festival emphasizes engagement and accessibility, offering guests a vibrant and immersive way to experience contemporary art outside the confines of a gallery.
This year’s digital art lineup is bigger and brighter than ever, featuring an impressive roster of over 60 finalists, including: Alex Mendoza, Alice Falco, Diana Reichenbach, Carlos Vargas, Joanna Kabala, Jonah Allen, Prizma Visuals, Tracy Miller Robbins, and many more creative luminaries pushing the boundaries of digital art.

Special Feature Artists
Be sure to experience the works of this year’s Digital Graffiti Residency Artists—David Bennett, George Berlin, and Nicola Pavone—whose large-scale installations will be featured throughout the festival path.
This year’s expanded DG + E programming goes beyond the glow. Expect thought-provoking panel discussions, student showcases, and educational outreach through partnerships with schools like SCAD, City University of Hong Kong, Seacoast Collegiate, and more. For younger guests, the Let’s Roam App scavenger hunt adds a playful twist.
The 2025 Digital Graffiti Awards will honor artistic innovation across the spectrum of digital projection art, with prizes awarded for Best of Show ($5,000), Curator’s Choice ($2,000), and three Special Recognition awards ($1,000 each). Finalists are selected through an open call, with entries reviewed by festival curator John Colette in collaboration with a select team of production and Alys Beach representatives. A panel of esteemed judges, experts in art, architecture, and technology, will evaluate the installations during the festival to determine the award recipients. Since its inception, The Alys Foundation has contributed more than $300,000 in awards and artist stipends to support and elevate digital art in the public realm.
This year’s artistic excellence will be evaluated by a powerhouse panel including John Colette, DG Curator; Marieanne Khoury-Vogt, Alys Beach Town Architect; Geoffrey Platt, Technologist at Falcon’s Creative; Dorothy Di Stefano, International Immersive Art Curator; Jennifer Steele of the Cultural Arts Alliance; Kelli Siler, DG Co-Founder; Cynthia Noble, Director of Art on theMART; and Deven Spear, Innovation Officer at Overabove.
